Just another great visit with the Decker ladies!

Several weeks back, Jenn and I made a date to get together this weekend.  We were going to spend a day at a local lake and let the girls just spend quality time with each other.  Unfortunately, this past Saturday after weeks and weeks of no rain, the rain came.  It was sad that we couldn't spend the day at the beach, but we ended up having a fabulous day despite the lack of cooperation from the weather!

 I think it's a "must have" photo every time Keira comes to visit - the breakfast shot!

 Plan B was to see the movie "Brave."  The girls enjoyed it!

The girls got to ride on the carousel (or merry-go-round as Riley prefers it to be called) at the mall.

We played in the arcade!  

The rest of the day included painting, playing, roasting marshmallows, and having a scavenger hunt in the back yard.

 We decided this morning that the girls could use haircuts.

After:  Keira went with a short haircut, while Riley just got a trim (or a "shrim" as she informed Jeremy).

It was yet another fantastic weekend with our two favorite ladies.  We are looking forward to seeing them again in 3 weeks for Riley's birthday.  

25w 4d - Update!

How far along? 25w 4d

Total weight gain: More than I would care to admit - but at last check 16 pounds - YIKES!! (I gained 28 with Riley, so I am hoping that I can keep it to that with this one).

Maternity clothes? Everything I wear is maternity

Stretch marks? I don't seem to see any new ones, but give it some time, they'll show up!

Sleep: It's only OK.  Some nights are better than others.

Best moment this week: Just having Riley talk to her baby sister daily.

Miss Anything? Sadly, alcohol is the only thing I miss.

Movement: TONS!  She is an acrobat in there!!

Food cravings: None

Food aversions: Still struggling with Tacos 

Gender: It's definitely a GIRL!

Labor Signs: No

Belly Button - Oh that sucker is OUT!

Wedding rings on or off? On

Looking forward to: My next appointment on 8/3 - not looking forward to the glucose test, but I hear that this is the appointment when I will be able to schedule my c-section.  Having a permanent date for Baby Girl will be a huge relief on this momma!!

OBX Family Vacation

It was another successful vacation to the Outer Banks!  When we went 2 years ago, Riley was just shy of 2 - she hated the waves and we did not get to hang out at the beach as much.  This year Riley is just shy of 4 and what a difference!!!  She loved the beach, ocean and waves!  It was a great vacation and we did a lot in the week we were there.  This included swimming in the pool. going to the beach, mini golfing, visiting the aquarium, the Wright Brother's Museum (twice!), flying a kits and spending lots of quality time with the family.

When we head back (in no less than 3 years, we've decided) we will be going back as a family of 4.  Hope Baby Girl Clark is as much of a water bug as Riley is!!

Happy 1st Birthday Keegan!!!

While away on vacation, Keegan turned 1!  We are sad that we weren't here to celebrate - but we will make it up to him!!

We're so happy to have you as part of our family despite the fact that there are times you drive mommy bananas (but I'm sure that gets paid back by Riley driving you bananas)!!  Here's to many more years Mr. Keegs!
