Diapers and Pins

Yesterday was baby shower number 2 for Riley. Boy did she receive many nice gifts from her family and friends. Riley is so lucky to have a family (here and in Syracuse) who love her so much already!! Mommy can't possibly believe there is much more she'll need before she arrives. Here are some pictures of the day.

The theme of the party was ducks. There were ducks everywhere...too cute!

Riley already has her very own personalized bag...courtesey of Aunt Laurie and Uncle Schneckie:

Riley has the best aunts ever...they have already spoiled her and she's not even here yet!

She really isn't trying to brag, but she has a pretty awesome grandma too! (Actually she has two...she sure was missing her other Grandma yesterday).

Gramps had to make sure that she is ready for the baseball season! Riley is hoping her Grandpa Clark doesn't mind that it isn't Blue Jays stuff!

Now the waiting really is the hardest part. We absolutely cannot wait for her to get here. She has so many people who want to meet her (and spoil her)!! Hopefully the next time I blog, it will be because she's here!!!

She's our "Uptown Girl"

I am not sure how many women would do it. At 35 weeks and 6 days a very pregnant mom attended a rockin' concert. Yes, that's right Riley attended her first concert - in utero. Riley heard (obviously not saw) the sounds and talent of Billy Joel & some very famous friends during his Last Play at Shea. Eventhough it was a very hot day and mom was a little uncomfortable, Riley didn't seem to care as she kicked and rolled right along with most of the songs.

Here are some pics from her first concert:

Could Riley love Billy Joel as much as her mommy does?

Riley jammed to Billy for almost all 3 hours!

Overall it was a good time for both mom and baby!!

Is it August yet???

Here she is...unofficially that is. Baby Girl Clark will be arriving into the world soon - August to be exact. Jeremy and I are very excited and cannot wait to meet her. She will be here in about 5 weeks (mommy is secretly hoping a little less than that!). As we wait and wonder what she will look like, what her first words will be or if she will be a super genius (as daddy is hoping), for now we simply enjoy watching and feeling her roll around and kick in my belly.
