For it's one, two, three strikes you're out!

The Yankee's season may be almost over and the old stadium may be torn down, but one thing is for sure - the Yankees can count on one more fan for next season!!

See you for spring training!

Shout out to all my people!

From Sunday to Wednesday Riley would pick a time where for 2 hours she would scream her head off just to scream. Just to make sure it wasn't anything where she had an infection or was sick, we brought her to the pediatrician. It was not what we wanted to hear, although there were no infections, we had a baby who was colic. After being given some tips on how to help our colic baby, yesterday there was no period of 2 hours where she cried and cried and the same goes for today. She was the perfect angel we brought home. The Clarks say colic, shmolic...just listen to our happy, healthy little girl!!

Syracuse, here we come!!

This weekend Riley went on her first out-of-town trip since being airlifted to Westchester. The Clark family took a weekend trip to Syracuse to visit with Babcha, Pop and Uncle Matty. Riley got the chance to meet other family members too, including her great-grandparents. Riley received lots of love from the extended family, but not as much as she got from her grandparents. Babcha and Pop spent the weekend arguing (in good fun of course) over who got to hold Riley the longer. Riley didn't care who did, because she loves them both equally!!

Here are some pics from this weekend:

Spending quality time with her godfather, Uncle Matty

Taking a nice nap on Babcha's shoulder

Spending time with Pop.

Even Otto wanted in on the action of getting to know Riley.

Overall, it was a successful weekend! Riley slept pretty much the whole way home. She was clearly exhausted from all the love she got. And in two weeks we will do it all over again...except this time we'll let Babcha and Pop babysit for a few hours, all on their own - we're sure they'll do just fine!

Dear Keira

Dear Keira,

Today I woke up from my mid-morning nap and mommy told me it was time to get dressed. Now I know that when we are not going out on the town, it usually means I am going to put on one of my super cute onesies and hang around the house. Today was different. Today mommy not only put a super cute onesie on me, she added what she called a hat. She told me that my big cousin Keira got this for me before I was even born. So I figured, since you have written me blogs in the past, it was my turn to learn from the master. I wanted you to see how adorable I looked in my hat and onesie. I like it...I hope that you pick out all of my gifts (I'll send you my Christmas list in November).

So, what do you think??

Can't wait to spend time with you next weekend for apple picking - yummy!

Love Always your baby cousin,

Riley

PS - How was this for my first blog????

Rubber Ducky, You're the One!

A certain someone finally lost her belly button this week. This called for a celebration. Our little stinker, got to take a bath at last!!

She didn't enjoy it at first, but the screams only lasted 20 seconds before she realized taking a bath is not a terrible thing.

Ah, so fresh and so clean! I hope Riley continues to enjoy bath time because it's never fun to be the smelly kid!!

Sleep, Glorious, Sleep!

Riley loves her some beauty sleep. We're thinking all this sleep is why she's so darn cute! She pretty much will sleep anywhere at anytime during the day. Here are some examples of what I'm talking about:

Sleeping in the arms of her aunt
Sleeping in the arms of her uncle

Sleeping in her swing

Sleeping in her car seat

And finally, sleeping in her own bed!

We are just so lucky to have this little sleepy head in our lives!
