Wow, talk about the slacking blogger! There's been so much to blog about but seriously so little time to do it in! Riley and Avery (and our work schedules) have certainly been keeping us busy, busy, busy!!
So I guess I should do a fairly brief recap of the lovely days of May:
The girls are loving life. Avery is in the last of the infant rooms at daycare and Riley is winding down her fabulous year in kindergarten.
We celebrated Uncle Matt's birthday in the beginning of May.
T-ball officially started! Riley is the only girl on the River Bandits, but that does not stop her from hanging with the boys. She plays as well, if not better, than several of them.
We celebrated Mother's Day and it was the best one! We went to Beaver Lake in the morning where I got to run and then met up with Jeremy and the kids to walk the trails.
Riley had her dance class pictures and got ready to perform at her recital.
Riley participated in 3 fun runs this month and made this running mama proud!!! She runs an 8:37 mile and she could kick my butt in a race any day!! She's racking up the medals.
We planted some flowers for our window boxes - so far 2 out of 3 of them are still alive!
At the end of May, we celebrated Memorial Day and my birthday.
With a busy May, I'm thinking we'll also have a pretty busy June. But then it will be summer and hopefully there won't be so much running around and maybe we'll have time to do a little more family stuff and relaxing.
