While I was pregnant with Riley, Jeremy and I used to dream about what our little girl would look like. I believed Riley was going to be a little peanut with brown hair and brown eyes, while Jeremy believed that she would have blonde hair and blue eyes. We'd argue over her features, but the one thing we could agree on was that Riley would have some crazy hair. Both Jeremy and I were blessed to have some pretty curly hair as toddlers and to this day we both have pretty unmanageable hair (although we do our best to hide it).
Well we were right. To know Riley is to know that she has some of the weirdest and craziest hair. She has beautiful color and cute curls...but that doesn't stop her hair from having a mind of its own. We never intended on getting her hair cut this soon, but after cutting Jeremy's hair earlier this week (yep that's right, I cut his hair), Riley decided she wanted a hair cut too.
So it was off to Snip Its. Riley had been excited all week long about her haircut, but about 5 minutes before we left the house she freaked out - she no longer wanted her hair cut - but we went anyway. The experience was not what I wanted it to be. She screamed the whole time and begged and pleaded to go to Target instead. The hairdresser Tina, was a saint! She managed to trim Riley's hair despite Riley's attempts to not sit still in the chair. In the end, through her tears she thanked Tina and now loves her new haircut. Hopefully our next visit to Snip Its will be VERY different!!
