This year was nothing short of awesome! We made it through our first official year as a family of 4, parents of 2 little girls and without any major bumps in the road. Life is pretty good.
January 2013 - Avery was a mere 2 1/2 months when we rang in 2012. We still weren't quite sure what kind of kid she would be. Riley was still a Pre-kindergartner at Holy Family and we were all adjusting to life as the 4 of us!
February 2013 - Avery celebrated her 1st Valentine's Day. We enjoyed snow from good old Nemo and overall just managed to ride out the rest of the winter.
March 2013 - Avery took her very first trip to the zoo. She loved the meerkats. Riley loved showing her baby sis around. We also celebrated Easter at the end of March.
April 2013 - we baptized Avery at Holy Family. She was one gorgeous little girl! Riley joined t-ball and loved it!
May 2013 - It has been decided that both our little ladies love being outside. Beginning in May, we sucked in as much sunshine as humanly possible. I was able to celebrate my first Mother's Day as a mother of 2 sweet little ladies! Riley also had her very first dance recital and rocked it!!!
June 2013 - Riley graduated from Pre-K and sailed through her kindergarten screening. We were so incredibly proud of her. Avery helped Jeremy celebrate his first Father's Day with 2 daddy's little girls!!
July 2013 - We enjoyed ourselves this summer in the yard. We did lots of swimming, rolling around in the wagon and riding bikes. Riley went to summer camp every day at Holy Family. She loved it so much we're sending her back next summer.
August 2013 - Avery started her 1st day of daycare (and thankfully did awesome). And our first born celebrated her 5th birthday!!! Our girls were just growing before our eyes!
September 2013 - Riley is in kindergarten!!!!! She rides the bus, brings her lunch and has homework!! Big steps in the Clark household!
October 2013 - Riley and Avery took part in several fall activities. Riley ran her first "fun run" and Avery Parker turned 1!!! Avery had a nice pumpkin themed birthday party. The girls celebrated Halloween - Riley was Sofia the First and Avery was a little lamb.
November 2013 - Thanksgiving at Gramps and Juh-Juh's was a blast. Good food and great company!
December 2013 - Santa was so good to our girls. They both had a really great year!!!
We're ringing in the New Year with Gramps, Juh-Juh, Aunt Laurie and Uncle Matt. We love that we get to start the New Year with some of the people we love the most. We hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2014!!!!!!
